Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Label Sheet at label.bnj.app, operated by Hugo Software ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.
What the Service does
Label Sheet generates label sheets and barcodes in your browser and hands you a PDF. You choose a sheet grid, enter your data, and download the result.
Free and Pro
The free tier produces one page per PDF and includes every barcode symbology, every built-in grid, the custom grid and the calibration sheet. There is no watermark on your labels.
A Pro subscription adds: unlimited pages, CSV/spreadsheet import, starting at any cell of a partly used sheet, a saved printer shift, adding a logo image, and saved designs.
Prices, billing and trial
Pro is offered weekly, monthly or yearly. The current prices are shown on the site and are served from our own server, so what you see is what applies. Where a free trial is offered, its length is stated on the payment screen; if you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and renews automatically for the period you chose until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal, which is linked from the site once you subscribe. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
If something is wrong — the Service did not work for you, or you were charged in error — write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. Consumers in the EU/UK additionally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services; by starting to use Pro immediately you agree that performance begins at once, which does not remove your right to contact us about a faulty service.
Your licence code
Access is tied to a licence code (BNJ-XXXXXXXX), not to an account. Keep it: it is the only way to restore Pro on another device. If you lose it, contact us with your Stripe receipt and we will help.
Your data and your labels
Your label content never reaches our servers; it is processed in your browser. You own it, and you are responsible for it — including that you have the right to use any barcode numbers, brand names, logos and addresses you print.
Barcodes: what we do and do not promise
Our encoders are checked on every release against an independent barcode reader. We do promise that the codes we generate follow the published specifications for their symbology and that check digits are calculated correctly.
We cannot promise that a given printed label will scan on your equipment. Print quality, toner, paper, label finish, module width and the scanner itself all affect readability. Always test-print and scan one sheet before running a large job — and check the printed measurements against the calibration sheet.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to produce labels that infringe someone else's trademark, forge another company's product identification, or break the law where you are.
Availability
The Service is provided "as is". We try to keep it up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded; otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Trademarks
Avery® and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. Where we say a grid is "compatible with" a product code, that is a statement about physical dimensions only.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
